It is my plan to get back to regular postings, I have missed it so much. However I just could not get everything together as quickly as I would have liked, while pulling my life back together, into a cohesive working order, and out of the chaos which had over taken it during the past several years.
Thankfully like Longfellow’s poem “The Rainy Day” the sun was hidden behind all of the thick cold and dark clouds of life, they have parted and the sun had always been shining away from life’s view! Sometimes during life we become mired down in all the negative energies of life and forget how to get back to the positive side of life. I hope to never travel down the long dark path of life again, much rather travel up the sunny path of life.
I am looking forward to much the much brighter and positive days ahead, now that it looks like I have gotten a stable and settled lifestyle back, and art is coming back into my life where I can be creative and positive. Life indeed is a learning experience, I have learned that I never want to go to the Dark side ever again, but to continue to dwell in light and happiness forever more.
The Rainy Day – Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
The Rainy Day
The day is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains,and the wind is never weary;
The vine still clings to the mouldering wall,
But at every gust the dead leaves fall,
And the day is dark and dreary.
My life is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains,and the wind is never weary;
My thoughts still cling to the mouldering past,
But the hopes of youth fall thick in the blast,
And the days are dark and dreary.
Be still, sad heart, and cease repining;
Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;
Thy fate is the common fate of all,
Into each life some rain must fall,
Some days must be dark and dreary.
