Usually on Sundays I do not do much and use this day for rest, or experimentation especially now that the weather has gotten nicer, to get out an play with the camera. So on Sundays you may see posts titled “Silent Sunday’s” with just some of the better pictures (experiments I have done) it just happened this morning that I put on my extension tubes and experimented with macro photography. This photo was a close up of Bellis Perennis, a perennial flower planed in my container gardens on the back deck. it is only about 3/4” across.
NOTE: The pictures would have come out much better had I not been lazy and gotten out the tripod.

CLOSE UP AND PERSONAL FACES OF MY VIOLA’S
ORANGE
While this is not much of a picture, I liked the shading and the way it came out. It is the extreme close up of an orange section of a viola petal. Would make a nice background for something!
MAPLE TREE BLOOM (I BELIEVE) at 20 degrees this morning I did not take much time with frozen fingers to figure it out.

Mitch, I happen to like that the pictures are soft – gives them all an ethereal beauty that is just lovely! And that orange? Love it!

Wow so many thanks to you Stacey for the wonderful comments on the pictures, I was so cold yesterday morning, I set the camera to auto and got back inside as quickly as possible however I thought of your advice on Aperature and Shutter Priority and thought I would try that this week when it is WARM 🙂 I will admit that I love the softness and was not disappointed by them, I could not help myself on the orange had I been trying to get that I could not have it was a happy accident!
