Today I spent an hours or so leaning /experimenting with my new extension tubes and a bouquet of flowers from Costco. I guess the best way to learn is to just keep on experimenting with settings and menu items until I see what it all does. Today for the first time I actually had my camera on the tripod and took these pictures.
I was using the 55-250 mm lens and the 13mm and 31mm extension tubes, and was using only the available light coming thru the window. the flowers were staged on two high gloss white tiles from Lowe’s one on the table and the other propped up acting as a background.
The last three pictures were taken when the daylight through the window faded to a point that I had to turn on the overhead light in the room which has twisty bulbs in and this added a warm white glow to the flowers.
