*Note- there appears to be some highlighted text that I did not put into the post which shows to be links, I am contacting WordPress, about this to see how to remove it. All of the links to music are fine. I am seeking to correct the problems now.
This morning I have been reflecting back on the last two years with all of its trials and tribulations, uncertain times, uncertain destinations, and yes uncertain outcome.
The one thing that I do know is that the Bohemian lifestyle of the past two years is about to come to a long awaited end. Finally a stable and settled lifestyle is about to return to me at long last.
It was brought to my attention by a friend that my use of the word bohemian has other meanings to different people other than my intended use of it, however upon searching Webster’s dictionary, the way I have used it is the most widely known definition of the word in todays world.
In todays world the word bohemian (often applied to artists) “not this one” means Vagabond, Wanderer, Transient, Nomadic, Unstable or Unsettled home life. A very non Mennonite way of life. I cannot express how much I have missed a stable and settled home life this past two years.
While for some this lifestyle may be a blessing, however for me it was truly a curse, for me nothing can replace a stable and settled home life.
Till the Storm Passes By – Came to mind upon reflection of this time, and it looks now like MY storm will pass by on Oct. 30 when I finally will be able to acqire a stable home life once again.
Below are links to several great Mennonite Acapella groups, I cam across while writing this post and listening to the beautiful sounds that only the human voice can produce. An Inspiration, to me and hopefully to you as well.
I am looking forward to posting as I used to on a regular basis.
TILL THE STORM PASSES BY
(Mosie Lister)
In the dark of the midnight have I oft hid my face,
While the storm howls above me, and there's no hiding place.
'Mid the crash of the thunder, Precious Lord, hear my cry,
Keep me safe till the storm passes by.
Chorus
Till the storm passes over, till the thunder sounds no more,
Till the clouds roll forever from the sky;
Hold me fast, let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand,
Keep me safe till the storm passes by.
Many times Satan whispered, "There is no need to try,
For there's no end of sorrow, there's no hope by and by"
But I know Thou art with me, and tomorrow I'll rise
Where the storms never darken the skies.
Chorus
Till the storm passes over, till the thunder sounds no more,
Till the clouds roll forever from the sky;
Hold me fast, let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand,
Keep me safe till the storm passes by.
When the long night has ended and the storms come no more,
Let me stand in Thy presence on the bright peaceful shore;
In that land where the tempest, never comes, Lord, may I
Dwell with Thee when the storm passes by.
Chorus
Till the storm passes over, till the thunder sounds no more,
Till the clouds roll forever from the sky;
Hold me fast, let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand,
Keep me safe till the storm passes by

Hi Jayne, believe me you can only guess how badly I want a normal life back, a normal routine, and to read all the blogs I used to follow all the time and post to mine as well on a regular basis. Living a bohemian lifestyle may be just fine for some, but certainly is not my cup of tea. Thanks as always for taking the time to comment Jayne. 🙂
